Description

A wood and metal appreciation plaque. The metal plate is mounted on a square shaped piece of wood that measures 27.0 cm x 27.0 cm and has been stained a darker colour than the bottom plaque board. These two pieces are then mounted onto another stained wooden plaque board that is rectangular in shape with a semicircular top. Stamped on the plaque is "Appreciation Plaque // Presented by // the Government and // People of Ontario // to // City of Kingston // Host to the Ontario Winter Games // Dec. 27 - 30, 1978". The Premier of Ontario's signature "William Davis" is in the bottom right corner.

The plaque was presented to the City of Kingston for hosting the Ontario Winter Games from December 27th to 30th 1978.
