A rectangular shaped brass plaque that is engraved with "SOLICITOR'S OFFICE // FURNISHINGS A GIFT OF E. J. HARTNETT // W. R. McRAE COMPANY LIMITED // 1973".
History
This plaque was affixed to the door of the room to which it refers in acknowledgement of the gift of furnishings donated during the 1973 renovations of City Hall. The plaques were removed as they become obsolete with the purchase or acquisition of new furnishings.
