Plaque

A circular metal crest mounted on a rectangular wooden plaque. The crest (HMCS Kingston) has a gold painted edge resembling a rope, and it has 3 burgundy maple leaves at the bottom of the edge. The centre of the crest has a burgundy background with a gold coloured griffin over it holding a black and white anchor. The griffin is standing in a black and white coloured crown. At the top of the crest is a gold painted crown with the sterns of 3 ships in it and 2 white sails between the sterns. Below the crown is the name "Kingston" in gold lettering on a burgundy background. The back of the plaque has a plain wooden surface.
